In Remembrance of Peggy Fitch

This week the NAFC said goodbye to and celebrated the incredible life of our friend Peggy Fitch after her unexpected passing.

Peggy has worked with the NAFC since the first CARE Clinic event held in Houston in 2009. She started as part of the planning team, one of our “captains” and eventually became the lead planner for both the CARE Clinics and our annual Charitable Healthcare Symposiums.  Peggy believed deeply in the work of the NAFC and our member organizations, and we were so lucky she chose to work with us. As one of the country’s premier event planners, she donated so much of her time ensuring our educational and patient-focused events ran seamlessly. If you have attended any of these past events, you likely saw Peggy hard at work, always with a smile on her face, ready to help with whatever was needed.

Peggy was the founder of her company, Meetings to Incentives. She led the MTI team since 2002 and provided operations, management, and marketing solutions for events, meetings, and incentive programs. Peggy will be remembered for her strong work ethic, commitment to learning and growth, positive attitude, and inspiring colleagues, clients, and friends with her passion for living a creative, balanced life.

The NAFC staff is so grateful to have worked so closely with Peggy, to have learned from her, and to have called her our friend. Our love and condolences go out to all who knew and loved her, to her family and friends, and especially to her husband Bill.
