As the national voice for our clinics and patients, the NAFC plays an important role in sharing information about the continued need for health care equality, accessibility, affordability and portability for the medically underserved in our country. We also recognize the importance of education and sharing resources that are helpful to Free and Charitable Clinics, volunteers, researchers, legislators and the general public.
NAFC provides technical assistance, informational and training webinars throughout the year for members that cover a wide range of topics including Member Benefits and Resources, Medication Access, Fundraising, Grant Writing, Public Policy Updates and more.
Annually, the NAFC holds its Charitable Health Care Symposium, a national educational conference that brings together medical directors, clinical and pharmacy personnel, management-level staff, medical students and volunteers from America’s 1,400+ Free and Charitable Clinics and Charitable Pharmacies.
