JOB PURPOSE:
Provide primary care patient services in an outpatient setting to the underserved population of Albany County, Wyoming.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Elicit detailed patient histories and conduct physical examinations.
- Determine possible diagnoses; order and perform laboratory, radiologic and special examinations or tests required for evaluation of illnesses; integrate clinical data, plan subsequent diagnostic measures and manage therapeutic measures according to established guidelines.
- Advise patient on health, preventative care, diet and diseases; confer with social and other services providing care after discharge and for outpatient services.
- Provide routine follow-up care including appropriate adjustment of medications.
- Maintain and analyze data; perform follow-up visits; assist in reporting results.
- Provide efficient and productive outpatient Family Medicine patient care services to individuals and families experiencing poverty without access to healthcare.
- Timely completion of medical records and other associated patient care related forms.
- Work as a collaborative member of an integrated team in an innovative free primary healthcare clinic.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Wyoming Licensed Medical Doctor (Family or Internal Medicine) or Family Nurse Practitioner
Experience: 3 years clinical experience preferred
Required licensure, certification, registration or other requirements:
- National and valid State of Wyoming certification as a Medical Doctor or Nurse Practitioner – must have or be eligible to obtain certification prior to start date.
- Prescriptive authority in the State of Wyoming – must have or be eligible to obtain certification prior to start date.
- Licensure by the Wyoming Board of Medicine or Board of Nursing – must have or be eligible to obtain certification prior to start date.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to communicate in Spanish
- Quality Improvement experience/interest
- Perform minor surgical procedures
