During this Thanksgiving week, the saying “actions speak louder than words” resonates with me strongly as I reflect on my gratitude.
The National Association of Free and Charitable Clinics is honored, humbled and extremely grateful that we are comprised of a community of doers. A community of member organizations, volunteers, partners and donors who all come together with the NAFC to ensure the medically underserved throughout the country have access to quality health care. The collaboration of our grassroots network makes a strong statement that we are the #humansofhealthcare and we are not going anywhere, that we are going to continue joining together to take care of our communities and of each other.
Every day, and especially this week of Thanksgiving, the NAFC team is thankful that we work alongside clinics, pharmacies, volunteers, associations, partners and donors who do not just talk, but who put others’ needs first and who fight for our collective belief that access to health care is a right and not a privilege. For you and your actions to help others, we are eternally grateful.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you!
Nicole Lamoureux, NAFC President and CEO
