In Memoriam - the Free & Charitable Clinic community mourns the loss of two health care champions, Jane Jones & Regina Reece

It is with heavy hearts this week that we in the Free & Charitable Clinic community mourn the loss of two great friends and health care champions, Jane Jones and Regina Reece.

Jane served as the Senior Clinic Consultant for Empowering Community Health Outreach and previously served as Founder and Executive Director of a free clinic in the state of Washington and was a founding member of the Washington Free Clinic Association. Jane was very passionate about people discovering and embracing their gifts and the power of collective talents in the governance and operations of nonprofit work.  A Memorial Service to will be held at 2pm on Saturday, March 21st at Westminster Presbyterian Church {1925 Boulevard Road, Olympia, WA 98501}.

Regina was the Certification Director for the SC Free Clinic Association. She previously was employed with Blue Ridge Cooperative and was the Director of the Pickens County Free Clinic. Regina’s life and fight with Cancer exemplified her strength and unwavering faith; she was a perfect example of God’s love. A service to celebrate Regina’s life will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 3:30 PM at Pickens First Baptist Church with burial to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

All in the Free & Charitable Clinic family will miss these two remarkable women and we will forever be grateful for their dedication to the medically underserved and the clinics that serve them.
